Best advice to Joe Biden is avoid attacking Palin in the Veep debate. I believe Palin will do herself in. She will reveal herself, her true self without any help from Biden. The questions from the moderator will be sufficient...Pam

Best question from a friend invited to watch the debate: "Can we watch the VP debate from the hot tub since she's bound to make my blood boil anyway?"

Second:"I don't know if there is enough wine in Texas to get me through 90 minutes of her."

Best search: Diogenes

Looking, unsuccessfully, for an honest man. Surely won't find one in Washington.

Best statement:

"I sincerely believe... that banking establishments are more dangerous than standing armies, and that the principle of spending money to be paid by posterity under the name of funding is but swindling futurity on a large scale." --Thomas Jefferson to John Taylor, 1816.

Append to Churchill, below, author unknown: Good judgement comes from experience. Experience comes from bad judgement.

best shoein of Thursdays debate-
Sarah Palin!! She won't have to domuch besides letting Biden hang by his own tongue.
Best candidate for President for liberals- Barack Obama! He'll not only raise taxes as he promised but he'll eliminate the marriage tax relief,he'll cut back on our defenses,he'll support the wholesale slaughter of unborn babies plus a few that are born live; he'll renew his friendships with his antiAmerican cronies. He'll continue his pattern of ignoring important legislation, and he'll discontinue trying to make a speech without the prompters.
Best statement by an onlooker.Goose " If Obama wins the presidency, I fear for our country! If McCain wins the presidency,I fear for our country."
Best sign off--- Goose
