Dear me, I was wrong yesterday when I told you Gov. Sarah Palin spent $110,400 on two hair and make-up stylists during the nine weeks she was on the campaign trail.
The number is closer to $165,000 and it was for three stylists.
Yes, dears, I know that is more money paid out in two months than most Americans make working all year long. Maybe she needed lots of remedial work?
Take my advice, Governor Honey, next time hire just one worker who goes both ways. There are many professionals who can do both hair and make-up.
A penny saved…

I have decided not to point out that Victoria's Secret is one of the stores in which the money was spent.
Since the daughter of a very good high school friend of mine was a model for Victoria's Secret, I'll offer no comment.----Goose

I wonder why the costs of John Edwards hair-dos and clothing has not been released.
I did see a bit about Obama buying Michelle a $30,000 ring to celebrate his election. Wonder what his and her wardrobe and sartorial costs were.
You liberals must really think poor Sarah is a real threat. Can't see it, myself. At least not yet.
I would think you would be going after Jindal. He is your worst nightmare. Of course, it might not be seen as PC to go after a minority.
I guess women are off the PC list. LOL
The wonder to me is that anyone can defend this kind of spending. This kind of hypocrisy.
Pretty boy John Edwards spent $400 on haircuts, sure. But how many haircuts can you get in a two month time frame?
Governor Honey's hair and make-up artists cost $750 a DAY! And she was claiming to be ordinary folk all the while.
It's the hypocrisy.
(CNN) – Enemies of President Bush take heed: Karl Rove is set to name names.
The man widely credited with Bush's two presidential victories says his new book will include an accounting of those in Washington who never accepted the president as a legitimate commander-in-chief.
"I've got behind-the-scenes episodes that are going to show how unreceiving they were of this man as president of the United States," Rove told Cox News in an interview published Sunday. "I'm going to name names and show examples."
So for the next book Rove can list the names of those who couldn't see Sarah Palin as a viable Vice-President. That should only require ten or twelve petaflops.
P.S. I wonder on the Bush list if Rove will place Dick Cheney before or after himself.
What about the upcoming bailout?
Is that not an intelligent conversation, or is petty gossip the way of the pen?

At the risk of confirming that intelligence is not my strong suit I would welcome intelligent conversation about the bailout. My difficulty is in finding any potential intelligence on the "pro" side of the bailout. I believe it to be wrong in all the forms it has already taken. I shudder to think of the possibilities for future bailouts with these precedents in place.
There was much gnashing of teeth that President elect Obama would march us into a Socialist State. I believe that he is going to have to save us from it.
I do not know about your second paragraph, but you are right on target with your first. If "W" ever wanted to right his ship albeit partially, he would veto the auto bailout rather than work with the passers of it.

Another day, another relationship Obama has to explain away and distance himself from. But, hey, let's talk about Sarah Palin's wardrobe and not the $770 million(!) raised by the Obama zombies who don't know their ass from their elbow and couldn't spell 'cat' if you spotted 'em the 'c'. Let's see: November posts highest job loss in America in 34 years and terrorism around the globe has found renewed enthusiasm. Coincidence? Hardly. Obama's a joke, too bad the joke's on us.
Let'see , we have Bill Clinton tying up air traffic in L.A. while he gets his 'do'. we have little John spending hundreds for his 'do',probably right before a tryst with his honey, Now we have the humble Governor of Illinois, whose name I can't even pronounce, must less spell it,obviously spends something on his 'do' to make it look good for the highest bidder for Obama's old seat.Wow what a crew!!!---Goose
Yep, what an embarassing crew on the Democratic side. Lucky for us all the Republicans don't spend money frivolously or get themselves indicted and/or jailed.
What?...Oh...Never mind.
