Beautiful but deadly.
Four to six inches of snow overnight.
Snowplows ran all night.
Blowing snow, wind warnings.
Ten degrees and falling. Wind chill minus ten degrees.
And a guy just rode by on his bicycle.
Not me.

Different cats those folks..I have never been colder in my life...was in Minneapolis twenty years ago, doing the opening flight for Sun Country Airlines (charter service started by former Braniff pilots/flight attendants)...went out to run at 5:30AM..ran for an hour..wind chill...-10...ice on my mustache and eyebrows...and on my tenders, too, I guess. Tough folks who can tolerate that. Go with God my son!!!

Dateline Lubbock: We had an ice storm yesterday morning followed by sleet, snow, rain, hail, sun, and then winds up to 60 mph and blowing dust. All in a 12 hour period. The low this morning is around 11. We will warm up to 32 today and then in the 50's for the next 5 days.

No tornadoes?
We had 100 EMS calls yesterday in Lubbock. First for falls on ice and then breathing problems with the dust. Lee
